ConnectUs (www.connectuscorp.com)is looking for an an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage the purchasing of cellular devices in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires an individual who is agile, detail-oriented, and proficient in navigating the rapidly changing tech landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage the purchasing process for cellular devices, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technology to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors, negotiating pricing that ensures cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and product offerings.
  • Analyze and forecast future inventory needs based on sales data and market trends.
  • Work closely with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, including discrepancies in shipments and invoicing.
  • Prepare purchase orders, track their progress, and confirm receipt of goods.
  • Work with sales and operations team members to complete duties as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in purchasing, specifically with cellular devices or similar technology products.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Robust negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in purchasing and inventory software, as well as MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and an analytical mind.
