What You'll Do:

• Oversee and manage the MDS program to ensure compliance and accuracy in assessments
• Determine Patient Driven Payment Method (PDPM) and potential admissions expenses
• Monitor Case Mix Index (CMI) scores for reimbursement implications
• Coordinate comprehensive resident assessments and care planning
• Provide guidance, support, and training to MDS Coordinators
• Track assessment data, analyze compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement

What You'll Bring:

• Valid state RN license preferred
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Direct care in a long-term care setting and/or MDS Coordinator experience required
• Proficient in state and federal regulations governing the MDS and billing process
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR), PDP, MDS 3.0, Medicaid and Medicare requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
