The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: full product lifecycle from conception to delivery; leading development of requirements; product design documentation; presentation of key milestones; offering improvements for development design cycles; cross functional collaboration to include Manufacturing, Reliability, and Test; and leadership and mentoring of others. Products will include areas such as power systems, lighting, motor drives, sensors, controls, automation, IoT, and RF.

To be considered, you must have:

  • 7+ years of recent hands on electrical engineering product design experience
  • BSEE or MSEE degree
  • At least 3+ years of leadership and project management experience ensuring high quality completion of electrical engineering design projects
  • Experience with Project estimation, scoping, timelines, and cost
  • Solid verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with analog circuit board design and DC to DC
  • Understanding of electrical component behaviors and performance
  • Embedded systems experience
  • Experience with electrical standards, EMC, and compliance
  • Experience with any of the following and / or an aptitude to learn new tools, such as: IoT, Eagle, MatLab, plusOne, OrCAD, Altium, Mentor, Multisim, LTSpice
  • Willingness and ability to be onsite daily and perform occasional travel 1 - 2 times / year
