Now Hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipper and Receiver to join our team on the 2nd shift (2 pm-10 pm) from Monday to Friday. This position offers a competitive hourly wage plus a shift premium. Our facility is brand new, and we are experiencing a high volume of product movement. The ideal candidate will handle the entire shipping and receiving process, from picking items using an RF scan gun to packing and preparing them for shipment. This role involves moving products via a pallet jack and occasionally lifting lightweight products. Responsibilities Receive the pack list for orders and locate items within the warehouse using an RF scan gun. Complete the packing order by selecting items from the warehouse and bringing them to the shipping/packing area. Handle the entire shipping and receiving process, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of products. Move products using a pallet jack and assist in loading and unloading shipments. Perform cycle counts and manage warehouse inventory. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse or picker/packer role. Proficiency with RF scanners. Experience with material handling and pallet jack operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with shipping and receiving processes. Familiarity with inventory management. Ability to operate sit-down forklifts (although this position does not require forklift operation). Why Work Here? The facility currently employs 70 staff members across all shifts, with plans to expand to 90 employees. You will experience a collaborative and supportive work environment.
