About The Position
We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia, beginning Dec 23, 2025. This opportunity spans a 4-day assignment with 7AM to 6PM shifts. Join our client’s team to provide specialized gastroenterology care during a focused contract period.

Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

- Provide gastroenterology clinical care under physician supervision
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with GI conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to gastroenterology
- Assist in procedures and follow up with patients as needed
- Document clinical findings using the Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information

- Active Virginia Physician Assistant license required
- Board certification in Gastroenterology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
