Job Overview:
We are seeking a Raw Materials Manager for our luxury menswear brand. The successful candidate will lead our team through the process of research and purchasing for sampling to support the design for the collections creation. They will be able to interface daily for the development of fabrics, accessories, and trimmings, systematically speaking with suppliers, ensuring both quality and planned timing. The position is based in Downtown LA and includes a competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead research and purchasing process for sampling to support collection creation
Interface daily for the development of fabrics, accessories, and trimmings
Systematically speak with suppliers, ensuring both quality and planned timing
Requirements:
Prior experience in raw materials management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience with Netsuite a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree in textiles, fashion merchandising, or related field preferred.
