** Sales Manager, Southeast**

Job Title Sales Manager, Southeast Requisition ID 27648161 Location atlanta, GA 30301 Other Location Description Come grow with us We are currently looking for an experienced sales management professional to join our channel team for the southeast USA. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience building and successfully managing channel partners in a technology background. Working with both our sales and engineering field teams to support revenue growth through partner support and growth will be a key responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide day-to-day guidance for our top channel partners in the Western Region

* Manage marketing programs and events for focus partners

* Help develop new, efficient, and useful processes with the direct goal of making it easier to do business with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise

* Communicate new campaigns and programs to our existing channel partners

* Recruit new channel partners and build strategic partnerships

* Meet with select partners on a quarterly basis to track results against plans and help guide them to success

* Work closely with field sales and engineering teams on a joint approach to best represent ALE to both our partners and customers

Candidates must have:

* Minimum of 3 years developing and executing a channel strategy, either in the field or from an inside position

* 5+ years in a sales-focused role or directly supporting sales efforts

* Strong communications skills aimed to ease difficult conversations and negate channel conflic

* Desire to mentor young professionals and interns

* Ability to travel approximate travel requirement is 20-30%
