As a Field Manager with Hancock Claims, you are the liaison between the Company, carrier/clients and independent roof inspectors. This position requires oversight and business development of an assigned territory. This position is also responsible for all aspects of carrier/client satisfaction within the territory.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Depending on size of region, there may be a Field Operations Assistant reporting directly to the Field Manager.
- Liaise between Hancock Claims Consultants, carriers/clients, and independent roof sub-contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier clients.
- Prospect and develop new customers through networking and referrals.
- Build and maintain network of independent roof inspection sub-contractors.
- Directly responsible for all aspects of carrier/client satisfaction within territory.
- Responsible for the investigation and resolution of critical customer problems.
- Ensure that work of independent roof inspection sub-contractors meets client expectations.
- Maintain proactive communication with scheduling and claims coordination departments to ensure that appointments are feasibly scheduled and that scheduled appointments are kept.
- Ensure that inspections are completed in a timely manner and that service level requirements are met.
- Perform monthly field evaluations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- Experience in roofing, general contracting or similar background.
- Ability to quickly understand job specific requirements, complex carrier/client inspection specifications, regional volume capacity, and adhere to industry standard inspection methodologies.
- HAAG Certification
- Rope and Harness Certification
- Insurance industry experience
- Work is performed outdoors in conditions that may include inclement weather, wind, heat and humidity, and exposure to roofing components.
- Work requires long lengths of time sitting.
- Position requires daytime availability, as well as, nights, weekends and extended hours.
- Must possess valid driver's license prior to employment.
- Ability to travel within and outside of multi-state territory on short notice.
- Incumbent must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object.
- Ability to bend, squat, and reach above shoulders.
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
- Must be able to quickly move arms and legs.
- Visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
- Excellent stamina is required.
- Excellent balance is required.
