Leads the production team on the line. Cross-trained on all production equipment/lines. Performs various tasks, including, but not limited to: operating, setup/changeover, minor mechanical adjustments and sanitizing of the production equipment. Completes Redzone quality checks and downtime accurately, as
well as production paperwork.
Job Responsibilities
Lead team operating the applicable production line
Champion safety and quality guidelines
Prepare production equipment for runs including proper safety checks and documentation
Operate all production equipment
Conduct efficient product changeovers
Maintain production areas in proper state of cleanliness and follow all SOPs; follow GMPs and
keep company in compliance with certifications (Organic, Kosher, HACCP, SQF, etc.)
Perform Redzone production counts, quality checks and downtime recording
Maintain 5s in the production department
Properly handle blends and materials
Report on defective ingredients or machinery

Must be able to lift 40 lbs to 60 lbs continuously while following proper safety protocols
Must be able to bend, pull, reach and twist for extended periods of time
A sense of urgency
Monitor production records in progress for weights, and compliance with specifications
Support and assist with other production area tasks as needed and assigned
Skills:

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Trouble shooting and keeping things going, more than a button pusher. They will be doing some of the quality and checking the weights of the products
Requirements and Skills
Proven communication, teamwork and leadership skills; strong ability and willingness to problem-solve
Curiosity; strong interest in gaining new skills/learning new things
Previous manufacturing experience required; previous food manufacturing experience strongly
preferred. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and PPE requirements.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
Knowledge of manual and power jack and forklift operation (training will be provided, as
necessary)
Basic reading and math skills
Basic computer skills; Redzone experience a plus, but not required
Attention to detail
Ability to lift 55 lbs.
