Olympus Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Orlando location. Candidates should have knowledge of shipping and receiving, the ability to problem-solve for root causes, and corrective action when problems occur. The position requires composure and the ability to solve problems involving multiple departments. Strong communication skills are a must and candidates should also have a keen eye for details.

**Job Duties include:**

* Assist in loading/unloading trucks and receiving daily UPS and FedEx shipments.

* Understand and execute of inventory control process and nomenclature

* Timely placement of materials in the proper bin

* Awareness, understanding, and correction of wrongly placed items.

* Following the procedure of the daily report

* Properly ship orders according to procedures.

* Understand and maintain department housekeeping by individual observational and initiative.

* Pack products according to guidelines for safe shipment

* Complete inspection and packaging tasks as assigned.

* Meet timing standards and sales/engineering expectations of the product

* Remaining flexible to meet the changing demands and deadlines encompassing the entire schedule

Since 1893, Olympus Group has been a leader in the custom printing and sewing industry, specializing in large format digital and dye-sublimation printing. Our Mascot Division combines our unique in-house printing and sewing capabilities to create some of the worlds most iconic mascot costumes. Headquartered in Wisconsin, Olympus Group has manufacturing facilities in Milwaukee, Orlando, Denver, Nashville and Las Vegas with a creative agency in Grand Rapids, MI.

Our Custom Printing Division produces a wide variety of promotional and branding projects for some of the most demanding companies in the U.S.: banners and billboards for McDonalds; signage and dcor for Disney World; beaded theatrical curtains and dcor for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines; trade show backdrops and beverage promotional campaigns for Dr. Pepper; point-of-purchase materials for Simmons Bedding Company and Kohls Department Stores; and championship banners for MLB, NCAA, NFL, and the NBA. Olympus Groups Mascot Division is the largest producer of custom mascot costumes in the United States. Every stepfrom concept sketches to sculpting, molding, and sewing, is all done in-house. Olympus Group mascots are favorites everywhere: Yogi Bear, Chester Cheetah, Bucky Badger and the Famous Johnsonville Racing Sausages, as well as numerous university, professional sports team,s and corporate mascots across the country.

**Physical Demands/Work Environment:**

Individuals must be able to stand for long periods of time. Will require walking on a level surface throughout the day as well as some climbing stairs. Periodic reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting to move materials. Proper lifting techniques are required. May include lifting up to 50 lbs.

While the performance of this position will have frequent exposure to the manufacturing areas, no personal protective equipment is expected to be required. The primary environment including ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional conditions found in a light industrial environment.

Weekend work will be required based on company demands

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
