Rotating shifts are 6am-3pm 3pm-12:30am on weekdays and 7am-5:30pm on weekends and holidays. Shared on-call is also requested. Unit Information: Pharmacy General Information Tell us about the units: Pharmacy Department •Number of Beds - 60 bed hospital •Number of Staff - •Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 pharmacist 2 pharmacy technicians o Night Shift - 1 pharmacist 1 pharmacy technician •Patient Ratios - n/a •Type of equipment - Pyxis ES •EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. •Doctor of Pharmacy PharmD OR Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy •IV Sterile compounding certification Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. •Minimum of one 1 year pharmacy hospital experience preferred. •Experience with Meditech •Experience with Vigilanz List services in facility: •General surgery •Orthopedic surgery •6 Bed ICU •Medical/Surgical unit •Emergency Department Best personality Fit: •Hands-on team player •Customer-service oriented •Outgoing will reach out to staff and providers directly REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: •Current Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Floating Areas: •Satellite pharmacy office on MedSurg floor Dress Code: •Business casual or Scrub Color/Attire - Green top black pant Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. •Weekends and On callif any •Rotating weekends and on call - Weekday on call 12:30am-6am Weekends on call 5:30pm-7am o Acceptance of on call duties is not mandatory but preferred
