Minimum Education

The position requires an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other related field; a graduate degree in business, public administration, or health administration is preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

As a senior leader, the CFO should possess a minimum of seven years of previous experience and increasing responsibility in a healthcare finance role. A comprehensive understanding of outpatient primary care is necessary; experience with the Federally Qualified Health Center model is preferred.

Required License

Certified Public Accountant license is preferred.

Qualifications

Successful candidate must demonstrate skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment and discretion. Must be able to analyze situations accurately and take effective action while establishing and maintaining productive working relationships. Successful candidate must also be adept at planning and organization in order to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
