Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Regional President will create the vision, strategy, and business plan for the North region in alignment with the company’s enterprise strategy and priorities. (S)/he will build the capabilities required to execute plans enabling growth, innovation, financial goal achievement, exceptional customer experience, and employee safety and development. This position has direct responsibility for operations, service delivery, subject matter expertise for sales, M&A, facilities management, safety and security, with dedicated in-region support from IT, M&A, Finance and HR. Complimenting this effort is adequate time in the field with the service and installation teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences across the region. PremiStar LLC was built over the years through both steady organic growths coupled with an aggressive acquisition strategy. PremiStar requires a world-class operating executive who can drive an organic and inorganic agenda, lead the integration, and implement operational efficiencies across the network. Duties and Responsibilities: Establish and maintain a culture of safety, ensuring that the organization is always adhering to the company safety and security standards. Define growth and innovation necessary to remain relevant, expand market share, and solve customer pain points – through new service offerings, business models, and/or customer experience. Provide strong leadership through the creation of business plans at the territory and market level to achieve budgeted financial objectives. He/she is responsible for annual business line revenue and EBITDA. Build, grow, and cultivate the talent, team and capabilities required to ensure success, with a strong focus on inclusion and identify and address the most important areas of employee engagement to drive a culture of accountability through empowerment, speed through simplicity, growth through creativity. Assess the operations, via the branch network, and move quickly to improve profitability by building strong controls and discipline. As appropriate, identify and implement best in class technology and infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business to enhance service. Partner directly with PremiStar Sales leadership to ensure the appropriate sales strategy, focus, and effort exists to achieve regional business line growth expectations. Work with Senior Level leadership to ensure that field operations have partnered with Sales/Account Management on organic sales opportunities and are removing obstacles to expedite revenue. Continue to fine tune S&OP. Develop and maintain relationships with top customers in the market (strategic, multi-city and large Local) and provide consultative advice to aid the customer decision making process. Ensure that the general managers and HR are partnering properly to educate and develop key field talent, with an eye toward long-term workforce planning. Have a strong team focus and provide a work environment that promotes a culture of inclusivity and engenders teamwork across the region. Execute the company’s mission, vision, and values. Foster communication and regular interaction between headquarters and the field. Qualifications: 15 years of experience that includes progressive leadership and general management responsibility in a mechanical field services environment, with a minimum of five years of P&L responsibility for $75 million. A history of improving operations and profitability. Commercial Sales and Technical Leadership. High-performance team builder and leadership developer. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities. Demonstrated ability to optimize near-term results that contribute to long-term sustainable growth. Strong leadership skills and proven judgment of talent, with an emphasis on hiring and developing high performing teams. Clear, concise, and succinct communication skills. Values teamwork and fosters collaboration. An energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic who constantly seeks new ways to improve. Engaging and motivates progress and performance through others. Supervisory Responsibility: This position manages the field and office staff and is responsible for leadership, performance management and hiring of the employees within its departments. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is largely sedentary; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
