* The procurement of raw materials to support product lines from direct suppliers who have been selected through the quality system process.

* Manages costs to best applied standards and negotiates best cost solution while maintaining the best possible quality.

* Selects the best supplier who will provide the service or material required in support of all production and maintenance operations. Manages suppliers through the Gyro Supplier Management process in support of ISO and FDA rules and regulations.

* Provides feedback on the performance of a supplier by monitoring on-time delivery, pricing, and quality expectations.

* Provides project management for tasks that require New Product introduction activities, and new system data base tools.

* Ensures that Excel spreadsheets, drawings, Gerber files, and any other necessary information are provided to the supplier when asking them to provide a competitive quotation.

* Be available to answer any questions, or provide technical support when needed by a supplier.

**Education and/or Experience:**

* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent Combination of education and experience. CPM from accredited organization. APICS training. Project management Skills.

* APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPM) (CPIM)

* APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
