The Sanitation Lead is responsible for providing oversight of the sanitation team for their specific shift for the cleaning and sanitizing of food assembly and storage areas and non-food handling areas (i.e. break rooms, locker rooms). Detailed responsibilities include: Executing sanitation plan Supporting core sanitation activities Training, retraining, and coaching sanitation/janitorial associates Issue escalation General responsibilities Attitude and attendance This position requires 0% travel. Qualifications include: General high school degree, or equivalent, (e.g. GED). Fluency (reading and writing) in English is required, fluent in Spanish is preferred. 2+ years of experience working in the food, safety or sanitation industry. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Must have floor presence and be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours. Demonstrated informal leadership in previous positions. Demonstrated ability to read a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), preferred. Experience with sanitation of automated equipment, preferred. Previous experience with GFSI, SQF, FDA, and USDA audits, preferred. Home Chef offers the base salary range as posted below, with the exact offer depending on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, and internal equity. While compensation is within the provided range, it is not typical for offers to be made at the upper end. In addition to base salary, Home Chef provides a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, 401k match, and paid time off. California Pay Range $24.25 - $24.25 USD
