The candidate should be proficient with the Cadence implementation tool suite and possess excellent scripting abilities, particularly in Cadence Scripting and Python. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities: Lead block-level design tasks from RTL-to-GDSII, encompassing synthesis, floor planning, place & route, timing/EMIR/PV closure, and signoff. Utilize Cadence implementation tool suite proficiently to execute physical design tasks efficiently. Develop and maintain Cadence scripts to automate design tasks and enhance productivity. Perform static timing analysis to ensure timing closure and meet performance targets. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RTL design, verification, and backend teams, to achieve design goals. Participate actively in design reviews and provide technical expertise to resolve design challenges. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in physical design methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in physical design with a focus on block-level design. Proficiency in Cadence implementation tool suite, including synthesis, floor planning, place & route, and signoff tools. Strong scripting skills in Cadence Scripting and Python to automate design tasks. Experience with timing closure methodologies and static timing analysis techniques. Solid understanding of place & route and floor planning methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work within project deadlines.
