Maintain and enhance the organizations human resources by planning. Mitigate all risk/ liability points, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices for all Coast locations and branch offices.

Essential Functions:

Manage all employee/client complaints and issues specific to complaints of harassment, discrimination, safety and possible EEOC charges. Including the direction of investigations and interviews with employees and/or clients. While keeping Coast Management informed and possible coordination with legal counsel.

Responsible for the on/off boarding process of all overhead employees and the coordination of any HR related training.

Maintain and update the employee handbook on a regular basis ensuring compliance with state and federal laws (all states).

Provide Risk Management services. Company and Client compliance audits for time keeping, rounding, meal period penalties, timely pay, etc. Monitor new laws in all states company/ clients do business, ensuring compliance all around. Work with executive management and client management on process and policy to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance. Mitigate risk.

Work with Benefits Manager to maintain and communicate employee benefits programs for all Coast overhead and temporary employees. Including coordination, training and recordkeeping of the plans and branch offices. Maintain relationship with brokers and various carriers. Ensure compliance with reporting/ ACA laws.

All other administration duties as assigned or directed by management.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree preferably in Human Resources

Knowledge: Senior level knowledge of employment law, compensation and benefits, employee relations, wage & hour.

Multi state knowledge a requirement.

Experience: 5-10 years in Human Resources.

Skills/Aptitudes: Able to work effectively alone, strong leadership skills, able to relate to a diverse employment population, approachable, discrete and personable, takes responsibility of own actions. Strong ability to interact with clients in a customer service oriented business.

Level: Works under minimal supervision. Multi task oriented. Project oriented. Exercises a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.
