Job Summary

We seek someone who can offer comprehensive HR consultation to divisional leaders, as well as designing, planning and executing strategic initiatives that touch every part of our employee life cycle. The ideal candidate can collaborate closely with the CFO, CEO, and business leaders to analyze organizational change needs and design effective solutions for both associate and leadership development. If you have a comprehensive understanding of HR, strong project management skills and a proven track record of driving and executing strategic initiatives then you are who we need.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborates with leadership across all locations to streamline HR best practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring all staff are kept informed of policies, practices, and general updates through effective HR communication.

Provides support and advice to management on legal matters, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations for stores and facilities nationwide.

Develops and manages retention strategies by gathering employee feedback and analyzing quarterly trends and metrics to provide division leaders with actionable retention initiatives.

Conducts analysis of current and future workforce requirements in line with organizational growth projections. Formulates workforce plans encompassing skill gap identification, succession planning, and talent acquisition strategies.

Implements a comprehensive recruiting strategy spanning across divisions, incorporating employer branding, and standardizing candidate communication protocols to enhance the pipeline and increase candidate flow.

Revamps the onboarding process to facilitate and accelerate the integration of new hires into the company culture, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with organizational values.

Collaborates with managers on employee relations matters such as performance improvement plans, providing guidance on the corrective action process.

Offers coaching and counseling to management on various aspects of employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and management training.

Creates a comprehensive performance management process that includes strategic goal alignment, clear objective setting, ongoing feedback mechanisms, and the creation of development plans to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Designs and implements development programs for succession planning candidates, enhancing their knowledge and skills to prepare them for future organizational growth.

Acts as a strategic HR adviser to executives, facilitating the implementation of organizational structural changes, workforce planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and business realignment efforts.

Set-up monthly dashboards on HR metrics of US-based employees for the executive team.

Maintain HR department budget to align HR projects with company’s goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or master’s degree in human resources

Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR with at least five managing a team

Professional certification HR (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Retail background a plus

Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with a detailed knowledge of talent management and organizational development strategies.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and leadership at all levels of the organization.

Excellent project management skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong working knowledge of labor legislation across various states.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in HR-related software and platforms
