The business is a multi-site, world-leading entertainment provider that has experienced a huge amount of success leading to the recent PE investment. Providing live entertainment, the shows have more than 1.5 million customers a year. Following the successful PE investment, they need a strategic CFO to professionalise the business, construct a best-in-class finance function and work directly with the board and private equity house on long term business strategy.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful financial analysis, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Develop and implement financial models to assess investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and potential acquisitions. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Provide regular financial performance updates to the executive team and private equity investors, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, risk assessments, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the business's financial stability and to optimize capital allocation. Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions to secure financing and banking services that align with the company's needs. Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Act as the primary liaison with private equity investors, providing financial updates, responding to inquiries, and building strong relationships to instil confidence in the business's financial management. Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, assessing their financial viability and alignment with the company's growth strategy. Support M&A transactions, including valuation, negotiation, and integration activities. Identify and manage financial risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect the business from potential adverse impacts. Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
