As an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be responsible to deploy, support, maintain and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure resources, while providing end user support and excellent customer service across the company.

Pay: $55/hr

What youll be doing (duties of this position):
Deploy, manage, and maintain IT resources including network and server infrastructure ensuring security with an eye to provide excellent business application user experience.
Migrate and monitor infrastructure and applications including both On-Premises and Azure cloud with appropriate controls optimizing app performance, cost, and security.
Collaborate closely with the software development and other cross platform teams utilizing DevSecOps techniques for efficient deployment and maintenance of applications.
Write and maintain scripts and standardize templates to automate computer operations and resource provisioning in both the cloud and on-premises.
Continuous learning and growth in knowledge of emerging technologies, application integration, network infrastructure and best practices.
Configure, maintain and support voice IP systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot SD-WAN connectivity issues.
Monitor, deploy and troubleshoot wireless access points.
Ensure EDR and antivirus software is installed and configured properly.
Perform security assessment of AD, servers, Azure and O365 environments. (Email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams) and remediate according to best practices.
Evaluate local admin rights and remove where not required.

What youll need to be considered (requirements):
Comprehensive troubleshooting skills across networks, servers, security software, devices and configurations, whether on-prem or in the cloud.
Database management and experience/expertise with SQL databases, particularly Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL server
Scripting knowledge to automate resource provisioning and routine cloud and network operations.
Exposure to managing and supporting virtualized server environments.
Understanding of systems administration processes
Managing, resolving, and fulfilling support tickets
Procurement, configuration, maintaining and managing PCs, servers and network equipment and software licenses.
Understanding and maintaining authentication and authorization systems such as Microsoft Active Directory

What could set you apart from the rest (preferred skills / experience / knowledge):
Understanding or experience in security hardening best practices.
Understanding or experience in cloud computing management.
Education:
Bachelors or Associate degree in computer science or a related discipline OR equivalent field experience.
