The PACE Center Manager:

  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring process, disciplinary action and annual performance appraisals
  • Coordinate and facilitate center activities including care planning and implementation, preparation for interdisciplinary/daily meeting, family conferences and related follow up.
  • Responsible for management and supervision of ADC Supervisor, Dietary, Recreation Therapy, Program Assistants.
  • Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
  • Serves as liaison between individual program disciplines, other PACE departments and community service providers; as well as between administration and direct care staff.
  • Works with PACE ED to manage the PACE Center's budget.
  • Assist intake staff in coordination of activities related to the new participant enrollment process, including the assessment and care plan review meetings.
  • In conjunction with the ED is responsible for maintaining compliance with all state and federal program requirements, obtaining and maintain certification under Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as well as any other state or federal law or rules.
  • Assists in development and implementation of Suncoast PACE operational policies, procedures, protocols and regulations for direct participant care and support services.
  • Assists ED with evaluation of Suncoast PACE performance against national results and established service standards, and budget and other financial criteria.
  • Recommends changes in service delivery and staffing as required by the development and growth of the agency.
  • In conjunction with the ED and QC Manager maintains the stability and reputation of Suncoast PACE by ensuring
  • Assists withs investigation and resolution of Grievances.
  • Coordinate IDT discussion and approval/denial of Service Determination Requests in conjunction with QC Manager.
  • Serve as a member or chairperson of required committees.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Quality/Compliance experience preferred.
  • Managed Care/Capitated program experience preferred.
  • A minimum of (3) years of health care experience, and one (1) year of formally titled staff supervisory experience in a health care setting.
  • Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
  • Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association preferred
  • Upon hire, obtains and maintains Safe Serve certification and oversees compliance with the Department of Health regulations.
