Data Scientist

If you're willing to relocate to Central Ohio for the role, please indicate that on your application Thank you for your help Flexible Work Arrangement: 3 days a week on-site in Newark, Ohio & 2 days remote RESPONSIBILITIES Ll-Hybrid - Develop Exploratory Data Analysis packet. - Build models to predict outcome with data. - Build Data visualizations to explain the results of a Model. - Apply geospatial modeling, machine learning, and visualization techniques to internal and external data to make accurate and actionable analyses in a timely fashion. - Maintain the framework for keeping data accessible, governed and secure for the Bank. - Support network optimization routines, including branch and ATM placement/relocations, hub & spoke development, micro-market assessments, and merger & acquisition analysis. - Create reports and presentations for business use at varying management levels. - Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks. - Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards. - Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelors degree in data science, statistics, economics, or related field required Graduate degree in data science, statistics, economics or related field preferred 2 years' experience in financial services or related industry 2 years' experience with Power BI, ESRI ArcGIS, Tableau, Python, R and DataRobot Advanced experience with Excel Preferred Experience: Machine Learning, Spatial Analytics, Predictive Analytics, PowerBI/Tableau Visualization/Network Modeling & Simulation SCHEDULE Typical office hours are M-F 8a-5p. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week. This position is a hybrid work environment based in Newark, Ohio. This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with coworkers and stakeholders to discuss and exchange accurate information.
