ACCOUNTING MANAGER/SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
contract to hire
$31-45/hour depending on experience + 1.5 OT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare month-end close entries and analysis. Assist with the coordination and management of timely monthly closes on both GAAP and Governmental Fund Accounting basis.
Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Prepare reconciliations of revenue and expense for various programs and grants.
Prepare and submit timely grant expenditure reports to funding agencies.
Produce monthly financial reports for senior management .
Prepare routine expense and profitability schedules for directors and program managers.
Prepare variance analysis of actual results to budget and prior year.
Assist with the budget preparation process , assist department directors with their budget , perform allocations of shared costs across departments.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and supplemental schedules
Assist with year-end audit.
REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree
3+ years of related experience
Experience with grants and Sage ERP a plus
