Our client, a leader in the e-commerce space is currently looking to bring on an Assistant Manager in their Distribution Center to cover the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm). This company has grown nearly 200% over the last few years.

You will lead a team to ensure quality, performance, and productivity in addition to ensuring safety is the highest priority. You will directly manages a team of employees with full authority to hire, train, coach, discipline and terminate.

Trains and coaches employees on operational procedures and workflows

Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other organizations to maintain efficient flow of supplies and product in and out of the warehouse.

Day-to-day leadership over functional warehouse unit

Track and maintain performance against daily operational metrics/KPIs; provide regular reporting and advice to leadership on operational improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma required.

- 3-5 years prior experience in warehouse operations; retail/ecommerce industry experience desired

- Prior supervisory experience preferred.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google products and WMS platforms.

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level.
