Position Description: We are looking for an experienced compensation professional to support the compensation team on Broad’s Job Architecture project for 3 months, with the potential to extend to 6 months.

Responsibilities: Review inventory of active job profiles to create a temporary, central repository of updated job descriptions. Assure consistency with job description content, providing the information necessary to determine appropriate job leveling. If a current job description or requisition exists, identify profiles that have multiple and or varying descriptions. If multiple/varying, work with People Partner and manager to determine which job descriptions to eliminate and consolidate. If a current job description does not exist, meet with People Partner and manager to create an updated job description. Review existing job matrices to determine accuracy and make recommendations regarding additions or deletions based on updated job descriptions. Solicit input from People Partners and managers where needed Recommend and create additional matrices based on job profiles that do not currently map to a matrix. Provide recommendations for job families, sub families and levels. Help determine if additional families are required and which profiles should be part of those families. Draft new job code nomenclature and create and assign new job codes Regularly review the project timeline and recommend revisions as needed. As part of the job description review, become familiar with the July, 2024 FLSA revisions, determine which employees and job profiles would be impacted, and recommend changes, including financial impact. Draft communications regarding changes to impacted groups (managers, employees, Payroll, etc.).

Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with 4 years compensation experience. Experience with creating or updating a job architecture strongly preferred

Skills Exposure to a wide variety of business functions and ability to consult with managers. Understand Radford Leveling Strong organizational skills to manage large volume of documents and track progress on updates Effective problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to succinctly drive action. Effective business acumen with a collaborative mindset focusing on best practices for building an equitable, inclusive, and diverse workforce. Excellent PC skills including Google Drive and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with extensive Excel experience; Workday experience preferred. CCP or classes toward the certification preferred
