Accountabilities: Responsible for performing complex and advanced troubleshooting on specific equipment and equipment families in relation to Wärtsilä systems. Acts as a Senior Engineer for complex marine installations and as a system specialist to lead product related commissioning activities as required. Perform advanced troubleshooting on site to isolate and find root causes of failures in propulsion electrical and hydraulic equipment. Lead and manage assigned self/team while on site, interacting with the customer to arrange for proper schedule to achieve desired scope. Keep track of work details and provide in depth reports including all the necessary details. (Measurements, photos, way of working, investigations, etc.). Keep track and provide an accounting of time, spare parts used. Proactively advise and promote available products and solutions to customers. For applicants that reside in CA/CO/WA, the hourly wage range is $45-$55. For applicants that reside in NY, the salary/salary range/hourly wage range is $43-$53.
