Over the last 75+ years, Magid has developed numerous innovative products that have revolutionized the safety industry and have played a significant role in enhancing safety standards worldwide.The District Sales Manager will build a sales territory through new account generation and increasing existing accounts. We are looking for a "hunter," someone with a passion for outside sales and a desire to build a sales territory through cold-calling and canvassing. This is a remote position with a home office. You will be in the field four days a week with occasional overnight travel.This position involves consultative selling and requires you to focus on understanding the needs and goals of our customers so that you can provide tailored solutions. Once fully trained, you will be part of our team of safety professionals who specialize in identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and implementing measures to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.What you'll be doing:New business development through cold calling and canvassingImplementing sales programs with existing accountsDeveloping proposals to generate new businessAttending trade showsReporting to regional office on sales progressWhat we're looking for:3-5 years of successful selling to the end user, ideally in the industrial or manufacturing verticalsAbility to build and develop strategic client relationships.Strong presentation skillsPC skills - Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ExcelMust have a valid driver's license and good driving record.Safety and PPE product experience a plusWhat's in it for you?Base salary + uncapped commissions with high earning potential.Comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401K with company match + profit sharing.Company vehicle, gas card, expense account, cell phone, iPad, and laptop.Comprehensive training program Work Arrangement:This position is a home based, remote role in the field, interfacing with customers throughout West Virginia.
