Business and Revenue Growth; Assess services and geographies to determine key moves essential to positioning the company for profitability and expansion, including office leases. Drive project cost control policies and procedures and identify business risks and opportunities. Establish banking relationships and credit arrangements to help finance the growth of the firm. Perform financial evaluations on prospective business opportunities and negotiate strategic alliances, partnerships and acquisitions. Controls, Audit and Tax Reporting Functions; Develop and maintain systems for internal controls and accurate reporting of operations. Oversee the preparation and filing of all required tax returns and reports and respond to audits. who isresponsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Finance and Accounting Department. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required. MBA preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable. Minimum 10 years of Accounting & Finance experience, preferably in the engineering/architectural field or professional services firm acting as Controller or CFO. Supervisory/people leadership experience required. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in accounting software (BST Global preferred) and Microsoft Office suite. Experience in managing and overseeing IT hardware and software systems as it relates to business needs, preferred. Experience working in an employee-owned company is highly preferred with experience managing profit sharing plans including FP&A, regulatory compliance, performance evaluation and long-term planning.
