We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering team

Responsibilities:

* Conceptualize the initial design approach for major phases of large projects.* Plan, schedule, conduct and/or coordinate mechanical engineering work.* Interpret and revise engineering documents.* Conceive, plan and conduct research in complex problem areas.* Prepare engineered plans and technical specifications, contract documents and assist with estimates.* Participate in contract bidding and administration. Observe ongoing progress of a project.* Assist in coordination of projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff. Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to project.* Assist in resolving a variety of complex problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of job related experience.* P.E. licensure* Healthcare related building design experience.* Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, practices and techniques.* Knowledge of codes and regulations.* Skilled with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Strong team player* Must have a strong attention to detail.* Must have strong organizational and time management skills.* Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.* Ability to travel to job sites as needed.* Valid Driver License is required to travel to job sites.
