We arelooking for a Financial Analyst (AP/AR) who will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. You will be responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Roleand Responsibilities:
Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used toillustrate technical reports.
Analyze financialinformation to produce a forecast of business, industry and economic conditionsfor use in making investment decisions.
Interpret dataaffecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and futuretrends in investment risks.
Process billing escalations.
Provide customer support of financial contracts including pro-rated refunds, warranties, closed loop refund process.
Required Experience and Education:
0-3 years of related experience required.
Highschool Diploma is acceptable - with 3 yearsrelated experience.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred.
AP/AR experience w/ knowledge of PO, refund, warranty processes – ability to process escalations around billing.
Experience with monthly reconciliation and P&L & must be able to provide customer support of financial contracts including pro-rated refunds, warranties, closed loop refund process.
Basic knowledge ofeconomic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting offinancial data.
Basic knowledge offederal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related toaccounting.
Previousexperience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel andPowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Strong Excel (pivot, v-lookup, basic accounting formulas at the minimum).
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
Self-motivatedindividual with the ability to thrive in a team-based orindependent environment.
Detail-oriented with strongorganization skills.
Ability to work in afast-paced environment.
Limited supervisionand the exercise of discretion.
Verbal and written communication and critical thinking skills.
