Serving more than 10,000 Georgians, River Edge continues to be one of the state's leading resources for mental health, substance use disorder treatments and supports as well as individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.

River Edge is actively looking for a Full-time Group Leader to join the Baldwin Outpatient Unit. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating group sessions, contributing to the therapeutic environment, and supporting the mental health and well-being of participants. : Hourly, Non-Exempt Duties & Responsibilities

: Provides a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Assists in dealing with personal and social problems. May provide support to consumers and serve as a liaison for social services. Prepares lesson plans for group topics, maintains medical records and documents daily group notes. Performs case management duties, and group skills training and refers clients to needed services and resources. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a social service-related field (social work, sociology, psychology, etc.). License eligible in one of the following: LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW At least one (1) year experience working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities). Previous experience as a group facilitator utilizing evidence-based curriculums. All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
