Johnson Fain is seeking a self-motivated, highly-skilled Project Manager / Project Architect to work collaboratively with our design and technical team on a variety of project types. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design excellence and a minimum of 10 years experience working in an architecture firm on medium to large scale projects such as residential, corporate offices, mixed-use developments, educational projects, and/or large-scale cultural projects. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic and outstanding client interface and communication skills.
Job Requirements:
Ten to Fifteen years of Architecture experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
Licensed
CA Architect, preferred.
Knowledge of California building codes
Strong leadership and management skills
Proficiency in Autodesk REVIT is required, it is the documentation software used on all projects
Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Candidates
must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships and external and internal team communications
Resolve complex technical and design issues.
Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination
Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project.
Manage typical construction phase tasks including but not limited to submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, on-site observations and site reviews.
