Warranty Administrator

This position requires working closely with customers, warranty technicians, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment. The Warranty Administrator must be a team player that is able to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction while approving or denying warranty requests, scheduling warrantable repairs, and following up on the completion of work. The ideal candidate is a team player who can multi-task, use excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to deal with and remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

  • Review all warranty claims and approve or deny claims according to the warranty policy
  • Coordinate and schedule all repairs with the Warranty Technician
  • Follow up and communicate progress and completion to the customer
  • Communicate to customers what items are not warrantable
  • Handle multiple tasks, as well as projects within designated timeframes
  • The ability to say "no" and overcome objections in a professional manner
  • Read, interpret, and get to know our warranty manual and homeowners guide
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five years related experience in home building or warranty industry
