Director, Marketing Analytics Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to lead our Retail Media Analytics team. As the Director for Retail Media Analytics, you will play a critical role in building and developing our retail media analytics portfolio and setting the strategic direction for retail media analytics here at Petco. We are looking for a data-driven leader who has immense focus on delivering strong insights to drive industry-leading marketing performance for our retail media clients. Leadership and communication are key as you provide strategic recommendations to optimize client relationships and drive business growth. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of leading analytical teams across marketing channels and/or retail (eCom/in-store), as well as excellent communication skills to present complex findings concisely with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities: Data Automation & Reporting Lead the team in owning client contractually obligated reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis ensuring reports are delivered timely and accurately throughout the year Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, marketing channels, marketing technology, etc. to automate reporting where feasible and trouble shoot data issues to ensure data integrity Develop additional reporting when clients' needs change with a focus to their performance goals Marketing Performance Analyses: Play a leadership role with your team to consolidate and analyze data to tell a cohesive story with impactful insights to clients and marketing channels. Conduct in-depth analysis for different brands and clients and provide actionable recommendations for growth and marketing optimization in compelling ways Own the breadth of RMN marketing analytics and educate business users in using data, reports, dashboards to drive best-in-class marketing performance Client Relationship Management: Fully own the analytics client relationship by building solid rapport, demonstrating a deep understanding of the vendor marketing goals and challenges, demonstrating transparency, and delivering actionable recommendations to achieve their goals and aspirations Foster strong working relationships with key clients, acting as the focal point for data and analytical inquiries Collaborate with agencies and across Petco to improve data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and alignment on performance metrics. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field 6+ years of experience in data analysis 4+ years in leadership roles 2+ years of data visualization using tools like Looker, Tableau, etc. 2+ years of data SQL experience Excellent articulate and professional speaking abilities Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in retail marketing analytic roles Experience using web and app analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc. Experience using programming languages such as Python/R Experience in advertising effectiveness analysis, marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution and ROI measurement Strong understanding of A/B testing If you are a motivated, analytical leader with a passion for building relationships with multiple retail media clients through data-driven insights, we invite you to apply for the Director RMN Analytics role.
