As part of the software test team, the Software Verification Engineers work closely with other engineering teams to develop and execute requirements-based test procedures and scripts, perform code coverage analysis, and prepare test reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering, computer science or math field. Three or more years of test engineering related work experience can be substituted for education qualification.
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages, preferably C, C++, or C#.
  • Understanding of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, logic, sets and number systems.
  • Capability to troubleshoot problems logically and systematically.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, computer operating systems, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to write professional correspondence and effectively communicate information to other employees in English.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous avionics software test experience (DO-178).
  • Previous automated test experience.
  • Previous experience performing structural code coverage analysis.
  • Previous software development experience including object-oriented designs.
  • Previous experience with version control systems (e.g., git, subversion).
