As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of consumer marketing communications to RedWeek's audience, ensuring that our brand message resonates with our customers and drives engagement and transactions. Marketing activities include efforts to educate and encourage timeshare owners about the benefits of RedWeek to post their timeshare for rent or purchase as well as targeted efforts to general consumers around the value of a vacation rental vs. traditional hotel or resort reservation.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in orchestrating our consumer marketing strategies, crafting compelling content, and optimizing marketing activities across multiple channels. Your role will extend beyond email marketing to support the user experience (UX), paid advertising, and direct mail channels with collaborative copy and marketing solutions. This individual needs to be a self-starter and easily balance executing various tasks, concepting new strategies, and working with leadership to move the brand to greater success. This position will be equally proactive as it is reactive and requires the Marketing Specialist to help ensure the brand is growing, that consumers are engaged, and that we are effectively driving timeshare listings as well as travel transactions. Success for this role will include email performance metrics, attributable revenue by marketing source, and growth in new consumers as well as transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key teams, partners, and vendors to drive business and marketing strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns that support email, UX, paid advertising, digital, and direct mail channels.
  • Develop automated marketing campaigns triggered by consumer behavior or milestones.
  • Manage and optimize marketing streams and lead strategies, including segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics.
  • Conduct quality control and asset proofing to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Maintain a content library of banner and copy for various marketing activities, ad-hoc and special sale initiatives to drive transactions and engagement.
  • Implement segmented marketing approaches for different audience personas and needs.
  • Engage in active social listening and respond on various blogs and forums where our audiences most commonly interact.
  • Resource and share industry information that is pertinent to growing the brand.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to help optimize our internal marketing channels.
  • Administer and manage marketing budgets effectively.
  • Forecast marketing schedules, drops, and potentially print inventory and coordinate with stakeholders for material ordering, audits, and usage.
  • Prepare and present marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
Requirements:
  • College degree required in marketing or similar/related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous marketing or advertising experience.
  • Proven experience in marketing across various media channels (email is required, digital/paid is a plus).
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to create nurture streams and conduct complex marketing workflows.
  • Expertise in A/B testing to optimize conversion metrics across channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach to driving both tactical and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Agile working with data, reporting, and varies analytics to derive trends and formulate next steps.
