  • This job is a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis group within our Finance Division.
  • The Manager, Financial Planning will lead the enterprise-wide capital investment prioritization effort, evaluate proposed capital investments, and present recommendations to Finance leadership.
What you'll do
  • Leads and develops a team of analysts responsible for the company's annual capital plan
  • Creates executive and Board level presentation materials providing thorough assessment of opportunities, risks, benefits, alternatives, and justification for corporate projects
  • Develops relationships with internal finance, commercial and operational stakeholders and provides financial perspective and analysis to support strategic decisions across business units
  • Maintains a comprehensive database of capital projects and the company's resource approval process to ensure accurate tracking and control over capital spend to meet financial objectives
  • Perform financial due diligence on capital investments including discounted cash flow analysis, internal rate of return, etc.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to create value for the company through project leadership and well-grounded analysis
  • Collaboratively assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified project work or functional activities
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • At least 4 years of prior work experience in finance and/or accounting roles or equivalent experience/training
  • Previous financial planning, forecasting and modeling, and strategic analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Masters of Business Administration, or other similarly related advanced degree
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Broad understanding of the airline industry with experience in Commercial, Operations, and/or Finance
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Passion for innovation, speed to market, and team-based solution development
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the leadership team to identify, plan, and execute strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly collaborative, form consensus, build relationships, and work productively with a broad range of experienced professionals throughout the company
  • Demonstrated ability to assess opportunities, structure solutions, and effectively execute project plans to meet corporate goals
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple large scale projects on an ongoing basis and adjust priorities, as necessary, to meet shifting deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to influence and drive success by asking meaningful questions, challenging the status quo, and modeling teamwork and effective collaboration
