Duration: Contract to Hire or Direct Hire depending on experience

Location: Durham, CT Onsite

Pay Rate: $22-28 per hour(Depending on Experience)

SUMMARY

Position will be responsible for inside contact between the customer and company and support marketing activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Front line customer service contact, fostering strong relationships with customer counterpart(s) while providing an exceptional, and responsive level of service and solutions
  • With utmost professionalism, carryout the tactical aspects of managing customer needs, including but not limited to; order processing, internal production planning input and external communication, expediting, shipping information, customer portal management, and billing issues.
  • Proactively monitor and anticipate potential production planning/scheduling changes, ensuring that sales and all impacted parts of the value stream are aligned to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and detailed information flow to company operations.
  • Accurate entry of purchase orders, production schedules, and exception orders into MIS.
  • Administrator for the CRM. Responsible for generating formal agreements, sales quotations, and tracking pipeline
  • Maintain department file management system. Type formal agreements and sales quotations & track pipeline data in CRM.
  • Provide administrative support to the development and execution of annual Sales & Marketing plan.
  • Provide general administrative support to Senior Management team as needed.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment by following 6S standards.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including the Idea System.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
  • 4-year degree or 4 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably 828.
  • Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce Platform is a plus).
  • Ability to read and analyze, and interpret common sales and marketing correspondences, reports and documents.
