Are you ready to help create lifelong memories for our future Guests?
As a Guest Services Associate, you would be responsible for greeting and registering Guests, answering telephones, providing information about Ranch experiences and local area, and always ensuring complete Guest satisfaction.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet Guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the property management system, confirmation of Guest information and room rate, selection of appropriate rooms, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet of information, and ensuring Guest knows location of room
- Assist Guests with all aspects of their stay including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms and services are correctly processed, using the property management system, handling cash, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, making/modifying reservations,
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer Guest questions and inquiries
- Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy
- Respond to Guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a professional, efficient manner and timely manner.
- Field Guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for Guest satisfaction
- Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages and packages to Guests
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business needs. Remember...we work while everyone else plays
- Primary emphasis needed on PM shifts (3pm-1130pm) and weekends
DesiredQualifications&Traits
- Previous hotel Front Desk/Concierge experience preferred
- Prior experience with Jonas-Chorum property management systems or other PMS applications (preferred but not required)
- Microsoft Office/365 experience required including Excel, Word, and email applications
- Arizona State driver's license
- Cash handling experience
- Works well in a team environment focused on overall Ranch success
- Projects a professional image that inspires trust and confidence for Guests and Associates through grooming and presentation
- Demonstrates an enthusiastic and positive energy at all times
- Able to stand for long periods of time - up to 4 hours or more
- Able to lift luggage and packages up to 50lbs
