In this role you will meet fundraising goals and objectives, connect with our individual donors to serve our mission. This is a hybrid work position where you will work remotely, come into the Chicago office as directed and meet with donors within the Chicago area. May work in the office a couple days a week.

The role:
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective individual donors.
  • Meet annual revenue target by working with an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects.
  • Assist donors in creating meaning in their lives through giving to the American Red Cross.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Five years fundraising and/or sales experience required. CFRE certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in developing strategies for donor retention growth and recapture and proven success with complex requests is required.
  • A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
The Team: This position will report to the Director of Development.
