Overview: A full-time REHAB DIRECTOR / Occupational Therapist (OT / OTR) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department in Naugatuck. A successful Rehab Director will:
- Ensure efficient and effective operations
- Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
- Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
- Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
- Provide occupational therapy services as needed
- Be a licensed occupational therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
- Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.
