Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Essential Duties and Tasks:

Works with program managers to ensure client case records (paper & electronically) and various databases comply with grant requirements, follows Goodwill Industries of Kentucky policies and procedures, and funding source guidelines.

  • Develops auditing procedures to review program procedures to ensure grant/funding requirements are being followed and maintained.
  • Completes and submits compliance reports of audit findings to Career Services Leadership.
  • Assist in preparation for outside entities audits, such as the Department of Labor and others as they occur.
  • Assists with data reporting by ensuring accuracy of the information by conducting detailed data review in required electronic databases.
  • Must be knowledgeable of grant, Goodwill, state, and federal requirements.
  • Mentors, trains, and supports staff & other frontline staff on best practices. This includes training as a super-user of data management systems - its processes and protocols. Reviews, evaluates, and suggests changes of databases.
  • Reviews policies and procedures in adherence to grant standards and make suggestions for edits.
  • Creates SOPs with program managers to support grant funding requirements and Goodwill Industries of Kentucky requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Work experience in the workforce development, human services, assessment, counseling environment providing services to individuals with disabilities and disadvantages is preferred.
  • Must have proficient computer skills necessary to perform job duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office e.g., Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Proficient in the use virtual meeting platforms such as Teams, Zoom or Google Meets.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends to accommodate programming requirements and the needs of participants.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work, proof of insurance, a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands:
  • This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Travel across the state and to other locations beyond the assigned work location is occasionally required.
