Shift: Full time, Days Monday -Friday
Responsibilities:Oklahoma Heart Hospital is looking for an experienced Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider to join the practice of Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Truong.
As a Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires advanced clinical knowledge, excellent decision-making skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Conduct thorough cardiac assessments, including medical history review, physical exams, and diagnostic tests interpretation.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Prescribe medications, adjust dosages, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Provide follow-up care to monitor patients' progress, address concerns, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac care through continuing education, conferences, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and documentation guidelines.

Qualifications:Physician's Assistant - Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of two years of college credit or graduate from ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on education for the Physician Assistant) approved program. Current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure.
Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Experience: Cardiology experience preferred.
