Position Overview

We’re looking for a top-notch Associate Director of Marketing Analytics to add to our team. This leader is responsible for advancing our data-driven marketing capabilities through the effective evolution of our Analytics practice and platforms. The right-fit leader has technical knowledge, thinks big-picture, can tell a compelling data story, and is an effective builder-of-teams. They also have hands-on experience working with advertising and PR data, such as paid social, paid search, social conversation and traditional media mentions. The Associate Director of Analytics is responsible for evolving the reports and dashboards we use to show both the impact of our Marketing and for uncovering and addressing opportunities for our organization to better fuel growth and achieve targets. This role reports to and closely collaborates with the Director of Analytics.

Responsibilities:

Act as a leader who can help develop the Marketing Analytics function and act as a mentor to our team of analysts Be a driver of compelling communication and reporting of our Marketing team's performance against targets; experienced and comfortable presenting complex marketing and operational insights to a wide group of stakeholders, including senior executives and internal leadership Key communicator of Marketing’s impact to the business; offering process improvements & opportunities for innovation Own reporting workflows from start to finish, developing measurement frameworks that tie to business goals and guiding analysts in implementing for clients Help drive automation and aggregation of data sources into data warehouses and data visualization tools Proactively guide analysts in report formatting, quality assurance and data storytelling

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years of total analytics experience, 2+ years of experience in a Marketing Analytics leadership role at an agency Exceptional communicator, comfortable presenting to executives Functional knowledge of relational databases, Tableau, SQL/Python/similar; advanced Excel, data modeling and analysis skills Strong data visualization experience Report writing and development skills Passion for data and analysis; comfortable working with large data sets Highly collaborative style with effective influence skills; a team player, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders Exceptional leadership capabilities. Proven ability to grow and develop top analytics talent

Bonus Skills & Experience:

Tableau dashboard building expertise is a big plus. Expertise building and maintaining data warehouses is a big plus. Experience with social listening tools is a big plus (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Synthesio, Netbase, etc). Experience with media listening tools is a big plus (Cision, Critical Mention, Muckrack, LexisNexis, etc).
