Speedy Glass has an opportunity for Assistant Branch Manager at our Anchorage location on Arctic Boulevard.

Our Assistant Branch Manager opportunity comes with a salary range of $18 to $20 based on management and/or customer service experience.

The primary focus of the Assistant Branch Manager is at all times to be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of all Speedy Glass Safety Policies and Procedure Guidelines, ensuring compliance by all team members. They shall develop and implement new Safety Policies, in accordance with Speedy Glass Policies and Procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.

The Assistant Branch Manager shall assist customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems. They shall attract potential customers by answering product and service questions, suggesting information about products and services. They shall confer with customers by telephone, email or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders, or to obtain details of complaints. Keeping records of interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Under the direction of the Branch Manager the Assistant Branch Manager shall be responsible for opening and/or closing the Branch, various administrative duties and other duties as assigned. They shall promote and contribute to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed and will possess the skills and qualifications to perform all jobs as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and/or close the Branch; utilizing closing procedures to ensure all financial records are accurate on a daily basis.
  • Obligated to keep confidential any information pertaining to customers and competitors.
  • Responsible for the appearance and serviceability of the Showroom, Waiting Room, Shop, Company Trucks, and Restroom/s.
  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and assign workorders to the appropriate team member.
  • Provide product information to potential and/or current customers in a timely manner.
  • Quote, Workorder, Invoice, and Receive Payment for all services provided.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Order, Pick Up, Check In, and Inventory all supplies and freight for all services provided; insuring all product is clean and undamaged.
  • Files claims for all damaged product and supplies.
  • Insures all unused or damaged product and supplies are returned or taken care according to Speedy Glass policy.
  • Maintains accurate filing system for customer orders, quotes, specialty products, voids, returns, and all other necessary files pertaining to the individual branch location.
  • Sends and Receives all mail.
  • Be efficient in all duties required by all team members in order to provide support and/or backup for team members during installation of products and/or services for customers, including unscheduled deliveries.
  • Provide training for current and/or new employees.
  • All other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • High School or equivalent (GED)
  • One-year previous clerical and/or customer service experience
  • Professional phone voice, demeanor and listening skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Superior customer relation skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to use and learn computer-based inventory control systems
  • Knowledge of market area
  • Excellent driving record as well as a valid driver's license
