Security Clearance: TS/SCI CI Polygraph
Location: On-Site

We are recruiting for a Communication Support Specialist to provide Communications Security (COMSEC) support for a technologies intelligence environment. The COMSEC Custodian will work in support of the government customer's requirements including oversight and management of communications equipment.

Role and responsibilities include:
  • Provide communications specialist support including the oversight and management of the communications equipment
  • Provide technical solutions and identify new technologies that can be used to ensure
    operators accomplish their mission objectives
  • Maintain and support all equipment necessary to support field operations, including testing the equipment and training personnel
  • Provide support to logistics staff regarding inventory of COMSEC and other communication equipment
  • Maintain and log all satellite systems, Iridium phones, and pagers
  • Support technical decisions made by senior management regarding communications equipment and protocols
  • Track and maintain all COMSEC material and related equipment
  • Support ongoing OCONUS field activities as well as CONUS operations
  • Maintain IT/laptop accountability, maintenance and distribution, as required
  • Follow customer's logistics procedures and protocols to account for assigned property
  • Serve as backup for the specific objectives, projects, and duties performed on a daily basis by the logistics coordinators
  • Other related duties, as assigned
Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance
  • Current CI Polygraph or ability to obtain CI Polygraph
  • 5 years of related experience supporting COMSEC custodial duties
  • Experience supporting DoD logistics
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills
  • Availability to support on-site work in Charlottesville (no remote work offered)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
