Freese and Nichols is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to join our Master Planning team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will manage and lead technical tasks, develop scope/fee and support business development activities, including proposal development. Responsibilities of this position include the following:
Leading a project team for municipal water and wastewater studies, including master plans, water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic evaluations, water quality in distribution systems and asset management.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams while working with utilities to solve complex issues and develop capital improvement plans.
Must have polished professional communication, both technical writing and verbal presentation skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
8+ years of related experience in the water/wastewater engineering industry
North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to become licensed in NC within 6 months.
Preferred:
Expereince with hydraulic modeling software, such as Innovyze products (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, InfoAsset Planner) or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS)
Knowledge of GIS applications in water and wastewater planning
North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to become licensed in NC within 6 months.
