(ARA) has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional **Nuclear Subject Matter Expert** with experience identifying, characterizing, and assessing global nuclear and radiological threats including proliferation and procurement trend analysis. This position routinely provides defense planners and operators with timely and accurate characterizations of adversary nuclear and strategic threats, WMD programs, and weapons-related S&T developments. The right candidate will generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other analytic documents. This candidate will collaborate with the Intelligence Community, Defense Department, national labs, and academia to address nuclear- and radiological-related threat issues. As a Nuclear Subject Matter Expert, you will provide guidance to less experienced staff, reviews the work of others, authoritatively contributes to multi-functional analytic teams, and maintains currency in understanding relevant nuclear technologies, trends, and procedures.
