1. Must be able to read blueprints and check detail parts to blueprint dimensions and know weld symbols as well as weld assemblies.2. Must know how to apply proper welding rod to proper metal using color code system.3. Must work per WPS (Weber Process Specifications).4. Must be able to use scale, calipers, and micrometers5. Must be able to set up fixtures properly and make quality welds and parts.6. Must be able to qualify for MVP certification.7. Must be able to perform other duties as required.Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned. Additional description Types of equipment will depend on area of assignment but may include: tig, welding machine, belt sander, and grinder.
