SUMMARY:
The Technical Training Specialist teaches employees and customers basic and advanced
courses in industrial automation and maintenance skills.

JOB DUTIES
•Delivers technical instruction for employees and customers.
•Shadows Motion instructors and learns how to facilitate existing curriculum.
•Teaches technical classes at MI and customer locations.
•Maintains class instructional materials.
•Recommends course improvements.
•Develops new course curriculum.
•Works with customers to determine training needs.
•Promotes training sales through Motion Industries' branch and corporate sales force.
•Maintains and assembles hands-on training equipment as needed.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree with a technical concentration and ten (10) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
•Extensive knowledge in fluid power, electrical or mechanical power transmission fields.
•Ability to educate self on new technology and practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•Ability to stand for long periods of time
•Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
